Welcome to the Gearbox Repair Company Terms & Conditions page. These terms outline the rights and obligations of both the customer and Gearbox Repair Company regarding our gearbox, pump, extruder, compressor, and blower repair services.

By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Work

The Company provides industrial equipment repair, refurbishment, and rebuild services as agreed in written quotes or contracts.

Services may include disassembly, inspection, machining, gear manufacturing, replacement of components, reassembly, testing, and delivery.

Work beyond the agreed scope requires written approval and may result in additional charges.

2. Quotes & Estimates

Quotes are provided based on preliminary inspection or client-provided information.

Final pricing may change if additional damage or issues are discovered during full inspection.

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

3. Approvals & Work Authorization

No repair work begins until the Client provides written or electronic approval of the quote.

Approval authorizes the Company to proceed with disassembly, repair, machining, and reassembly of the equipment.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments may incur finance charges per month.

The Company retains the right to withhold delivery until payment is received in full.

5. Shipping & Logistics

Standard shipping arrangements are managed by the Company, unless otherwise specified.

The Client is responsible for ensuring equipment is properly packaged for shipment unless otherwise agreed.

Risk of loss transfers to the Client upon delivery.

6. Repairs and Service Quality

Repairs performed are carried out using quality parts and professional standards to ensure reliability.

Gearbox Repair Company is not responsible for issues arising from:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper installation or maintenance by third parties
  • Misuse, overload, or contamination
  • Modifications made by unauthorized parties

Clients are encouraged to inspect completed work promptly and report any concerns so they can be addressed in a timely manner.

7. Liability Limitations

The Company’s liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided.

The Company is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to production downtime, lost revenue, or lost profits.

8. Change Orders

Any changes to scope, timeline, or materials after approval must be confirmed in writing and may affect pricing and delivery schedule.

9. Returns & Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing before work begins.

If work has already started, the Client is responsible for costs incurred up to the cancellation date.

Custom-manufactured parts are non-refundable.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Stafford, TX, United States.

Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction within that region.

11. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be held responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor strikes, supply chain disruptions, or government actions.

12. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of business.

13. Client Responsibilities

Provide accurate and complete information about the equipment and failure.

Ensure equipment is properly disconnected and prepared for pick-up if logistics are arranged.

Follow recommended installation and maintenance guidelines after repair.

14. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from misuse or misapplication of repaired equipment.
